DR. AGNIESZKA GEHRINGER




Agnieszka Gehringer has been a professor of economics at the Cologne University of Applied Sciences in Cologne (TH Köln) since November 2021. She is also a senior research analyst at the Flossbach von Storch Research Institute in Cologne, which she joined in April 2015.



She received her Bachelor and Master degrees in economics from the University of Rome "La Sapienza" and a graduate Master degree from Collegio Carlo Alberto in Moncalieri (Italy). In July 2010 she obtained her PhD in economics of complexity at the University of Turin.



Her research interests lie in international economics, international finance, monetary economics as well as in innovation economics, economics of knowledge and of technological change. She serves as a referee for several scientific journals and as an expert for the European Commission.
