Sarah Graf
Sarah is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Chair of Economics of Sustainable Agri-Food Systems. Her research combines the Farming Systems approach with Agrarian Political Economy. She focusses on the topics of farming systems, value chains, class, power, and environmental change in African and German agriculture. Methodologically, she uses a wide range of approaches, ranging from in-depth qualitative fieldwork to social network analysis to econometric analyses. Sarah holds a BSc. In Agricultural Sciences from University of Hohenheim and a MSc. in Development Studies from SOAS University of London.
Currently, Sarah works on the project “Information Provision Strategies for Sustainable and Climate-Friendly Production Methods: An Analysis of the Dairy Sector in Lower Saxony”
