Particify
Audience-response and feedback mechanisms play a significant role in teaching. Communication between instructors and students enables students to actively participate in and contribute to courses. At the same time, instructors can adapt their teaching to the students’ current knowledge level and respond to questions in real time.
What is Particify and how can I use it?
Particify is a university-developed audience-response tool featuring feedback, polling, and Q&A functions, along with a clear and intuitive interface. Among the many quiz types, flashcards can be used for targeted repetition of learning content.
Possible Use Cases
Receive live feedback during sessions
Use Particify to collect anonymous live feedback with emojis: Were students able to follow your explanations? Do they need a break? A quick sentiment check helps you make informed decisions about your next steps.
Engage and motivate students with interactive quizzes
Particify offers various question types for quiz questions, such as multiple choice or sorting tasks. A diverse and dynamic quiz not only activates and motivates students but also gives you as an instructor an immediate overview of the group’s current performance level.
Flashcards
Give your students the opportunity to review factual knowledge and reinforce content using flashcards.
Brainstorming / Question collection
Use the word cloud feature to collect (anonymous) ideas or questions from the entire learning group. The word cloud also works well as an icebreaker to connect with a new group of learners.
Q&A function with voting
During exam preparation, students can enter their preferred topics for review in the Q&A section and use voting to identify the topics with the highest demand for discussion.
