CiBreed Week 2026

On May 29, we’re heading to the KWS Talent Campus in Einbeck. We’ll travel to Einbeck together as a group by bus.

We’ll be leaving at 9.45 am from Waldweg 26, Göttingen.
Once there, we’ll gain fascinating insights into plant breeding and enjoy group tours and activities at KWS.

We will leave from Einbeck around 5 pm and will be back in Göttingen around 5.30/6 pm.

The second excursion will be on June 2 to the Experimental Farms of our University.

We will travel by bus to Relliehausen and Reinshof to discover our animal and plant breeding research facilities.

We will meet at 8.15 am at the new greenhouse facilities of our faculty.

We will be back at the greenhouse in Göttingen around 6 pm.

The grand finale will be our international potluck on the evening of June 2, following our arrival at the greenhouse.

Whether or not you took part in the field trips, we’ll be meeting at 6 pm for dinner together in the new greenhouse.

 is providing the venue, plates, cutlery and drinks, and we’d love it if
 you could bring something to eat. Share your favorite dish from your 
culture or any signature receipe with your colleagues!

(If you bring food in the morning before departure, we will chill it in the greenhouse until the evening.)
