Conference at the Arabic Language Academy in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates
In November 2025, Professor Dr. Sebastian Günther participated in the Third International Conference on Arabic Studies in Europe, organized by the Arabic Language Academy in Sharjah (مجمع اللغة العربية بالشارقة), United Arab Emirates. International Symposium on the Arabic Language, UNESCO Headquarters, Paris
In May 2025, Professor Sebastian Günther participated in an international symposium on the Arabic language at UNESCO's headquarters in Paris. The event was organized in cooperation with the Arabic Language Academy of Sharjah and brought together scholars and specialists to discuss the historical and cultural significance and the contemporary relevance of Arabic as a global language of knowledge and intellectual exchange.

This symposium marked the presentation of the complete volumes of the Historical Dictionary of the Arabic Language to the UNESCO Library and provided an important platform for scholarly dialogue on the preservation, study, and future development of Arabic linguistic and cultural heritage.

Global Forum: Human Education in the Third Millennium
The Global Forum 2025, "Reimagining the Education of Humanity for the Third Millennium," took place at Azim Premji University in Bengaluru, India on February 13 to 15, 2025, with a view to reimagining education for the future.
