Curriculum vitae:Hermann Lüken genannt Klaßen studied Political Science and Economics (B.A) in Göttingen and also continued his studies in Göttingen in the Master's programme "Global Politics". Between 2017 and 2019, he worked as a tutor for Microeconomics II at the Department of Economics for three semesters. In 2018-2019, he completed an Erasmus semester at Gent Universiteit with a focus on European Studies. In 2019, this was followed by an internship at the Institute of European Politics (IEP). From April 2020 to December 2020, he worked as a student assistant at the Chair of the Political System of the Federal Republic. Since January 2021, he has been working as a research assistant on the third-party project "Implementing Network Code". Since April 2021, he has also been involved in teaching. Since April 2022, he has been writing his doctoral thesis on the topic: "Market efficiency or security of supply. The integration of the European electricity market in the context of national regulatory fragmentation (working title)." In this thesis he investigates why some areas of the internal electricity market are less harmonised than the rest of the sector, looking in particular at the preferences of electricity producers and the public to explain the variance.
