Lecture series header

“Forest Resilience: Science & Practice – 2nd Edition” builds on the success of the first edition by further strengthening the exchange between forest science, practice, and society through inclusive and experience-based science communication.

The project aims to make research on forest resilience accessible beyond academic settings, and to provide inspiration for future careers in forest- and environmental-related fields, while increasing the visibility and societal relevance of forest research.

Planned events for June 2026:

  • A Day in the Forest: Interactive field excursion to the Forest Botanical Garden for secondary school students.
  • The Night of Forests: Informal scientific talks at the Forest Botanical Garden for students and general public interested in forest ecology.

As soon as the dates are finalised, they will be announced here.
